Theater directing

Directing studies in the first year combine film and theater directing, and then each student decides on one of them, or both.

Acting

Acting studies provide intellectual and creative capacity, crucial for the development of talent that every student, and future actor, carries.

Dramaturgy

Dramaturgy studies include the qualification of a student for writing film and television screenplays, theater texts, radio plays, as well as for writing film and theater reviews.

Film and TV Directing

Academic and technically ready staff in the field of film and TV directing will be educated at this Faculty.

Film and TV Camera

Through film and TV camera studies, students gain the knowledge and experience necessary for a film and TV cameraman's career, as well as a Director of Photography.

Film and TV Montage

Film and TV editing studies, with their professional and artistic profile, prepare the student as a professional and artist for the final stage of the film process.

Photography studies are another exclusivity of the University of Audiovisual Arts, as a department that is established for the first time in the Republic of Macedonia. The wide application of photography as a medium provides a wide field of professional realization.

Production and management

In the Department of Production and Management, students will gain knowledge about the characteristics of television, new media and of course film and theater art.

3D Animation

With the establishment of the University of Audiovisual Arts in Macedonia, for the first time studies in 3D Animation were opened, and thus Macedonian higher education joined the course of the latest audiovisual tendencies.

Sound Engineering

For the first time in Macedonia and for the first time in a large number of countries in Southeast Europe, one of the most sought after professions in the world began to be studied at our University.

Film and digital media

The Department of Film and Digital Media is, as of 2018, an official department of the University. It covers a wide range of subjects concerned with the modern and ever-changing world of digital media and the techniques.

Film music composition

This department is intended for students with already established primary and secondary music education, where the main goal is to study the subjects aimed at the composition of film and theater music.

Vocal interpretation

The studies of the Department of Vocal Interpretation enable, above all, creative and practical study of music subjects. For all students who wish to choose music as their main occupation and have not previously been able to study it, this department is an ideal opportunity to form a personal musical education.

Musical instruments

The studies of the Department of Interpretation of Popular Music enable creative and practical study of music subjects and improvement of the skills of musicians-performers.
